1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of jintaslearning.com and your enrolment in online language programmes offered under the Jinta’s brand by Johns Education India Private Limited. By purchasing, enrolling in or attending a class, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility and learners under 18
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract. A parent or lawful guardian must enrol, consent and remain responsible for a learner who is under 18 years of age.
3. Our programmes
- Classes are delivered online and may be one-to-one or in another format stated before purchase.
- Programme content, trainer matching and class pace may be adapted to the learner’s level, goals and progress.
- Class schedules depend on mutually agreed availability. A particular trainer or time slot is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
- Learning outcomes vary according to attendance, practice, starting level and other individual factors.
4. Enrolment and fees
The programme, number and duration of sessions, fee, taxes (if applicable), payment schedule and validity communicated on the invoice, payment page or written confirmation form part of your agreement. Payment must be made through an approved method. You are responsible for providing accurate enrolment and contact information.
5. Attendance, scheduling and validity
- A learner must give at least 24 hours’ notice to request rescheduling.
- A late cancellation or missed class may be treated as a used session, except where Jinta’s agrees otherwise because of exceptional circumstances.
- If Jinta’s or the trainer cancels a class, the class will be rescheduled without deducting a session.
- The 60-class programme must be completed within 100 days. Other programmes follow the validity stated in the applicable offer or written confirmation.
- Unused sessions expire at the end of the applicable validity period unless an extension is confirmed in writing.
6. Trainer allocation
Trainer allocation is based on the learner’s goals, level, language preference, schedule and trainer availability. If the assigned trainer is not a suitable match, the learner may request trainer reallocation. Reallocation is subject to availability and is the normal remedy for trainer-fit concerns.
7. Transfer of unused sessions
Unused sessions may be transferred to another eligible learner with prior written approval from Jinta’s. A transfer is subject to verification, trainer and schedule availability, and the original programme validity. Transferred sessions have no cash value.
8. Learner conduct and technology
- Learners must communicate respectfully with trainers and staff and must not harass, threaten, record or distribute class content without permission.
- Learners are responsible for a suitable device, internet connection and a quiet learning environment.
- Jinta’s may suspend access for non-payment, abusive conduct, misuse of materials or a serious breach of these terms, after reasonable notice where appropriate.
9. Intellectual property
Course notes, videos, lesson plans, recordings, worksheets, branding and other materials are owned by or licensed to Jinta’s. They are supplied for the enrolled learner’s personal learning only and may not be copied, sold, uploaded, taught commercially or redistributed without written permission.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Jinta’s is not responsible for indirect loss, loss caused by a learner’s device or internet failure, or reliance on an expected learning, employment or professional outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian law.
