Yes/no questions may use an interrogative verb ending or aano depending on the structure: നിങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടോ? means Do you work here?
Negatives
Many present negatives end with -illa: ഞാൻ ചായ കുടിക്കില്ല means I do not drink tea.
